She has a pure, honest and uninhibited creative energy which cannot help but be passed on to her faculty and students.

How did Soul Arts Academy come about?
In 2004, inspired by the birth of her daughter, performer/educator Rosie Lanziero offered her first creative movement class for young children. Word-of-mouth quickly conveyed the remarkable connection between Rosie and her students and more parents sought out her unique pedagogical approach to creative expression. Since then, Rosie’s initial class became the birth of Sweet Soul Movement. Rosie's school is now home to over 200 bright young artists attending more than 20 diverse classes. As we grow so does our name. We are now Soul Arts Academy and Sweet Soul Movement is the young artists division within the Academy.

What makes Soul Arts Academy different?
At SAA, classes focus on holistic development. Instead of merely imparting artistic technique, we believe that a well-rounded approach to the arts nurtures individuality, promotes mindfulness and imaginative intelligence. Our classes celebrate the unique personality of each child, while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, commitment and mutual respect.

Our classes integrate somatic, kinesthetic and cognitive intelligence with a special holistic curriculum emphasizing social and emotional development.

As such, SAA strives to liberate our students by utilizing the arts as a tool to build confidence, self-esteem and facilitate personal discovery. We work hard to cultivate a safe, structured environment for children to experience the arts on their own terms. At the same time, they are encouraged to challenge their perceived limits and embrace life with creativity and passion. We believe genuine artists are created from the inside out.
