A Holocaust survivors’ message of forgiveness and endless love.
I entered Auschwitz’ on my 16th birthday and was liberated 1 year later by American soldiers. When they told us to go into town and help ourselves to anything there, I found a jar of honey and ate it with my bare hands until I could “eat no more”. I have never forgotten what I endured but I have chosen to forgive. Not because the Holocaust can be forgiven but because that’s what I needed to do for myself. Educating others is now one of my greatest joys.
