I am a visual artist and two year doctoral student at Franklin Pierce University in NH. Two years ago I decided to embark on what would be the beginnings of my dissertation topic regarding a pioneering sound company from Medford Ma. The project which is aptly titled “The Last Seat in the House: The story of Hanley Sound” will take shape as an oral history documentary style film, as well as in print form.
