Founder and director of The Sable Project, a radical artist residency focused on collaboration and environment set in the woods of Vermont.

Born and raised in Stockbridge, Vermont, Otto bought 15 acres of undeveloped land near his childhood home in 2013. He dreamed of starting an orchard, a garden, and perhaps one day building there. He didn’t think he’d ask eleven other people to join him. But last fall, while thinking about what most artists and thinkers are limited by--time, space, and food--he realized he could share the freedom and vision his land gave him. The concept for The Sable Project was born.
