Cara has been a writer, actress, producer & director for over two decades. She began writing for the screen in 2013, when her first spec (of The Newsroom) earned her several awards. She has made two short films, DIVISION and BOSOM, and is producing a third, COTTAGE GROVE. Her original TV pilot Evolution got the attention of a manager, shortly afterwards. In 2020, her original TV pilot TWIRL was optioned by Bohemia Group Originals, and is now in development. Cara holds a BFA from NYU/TSOA.
