Freddie Pearson is a movement teaching artist, director and choreographer focused on the function and form of the human being, its motor performance and control earning his BFA in Dance from New York University. Freddie has, among many other things, studied under Pilates Elder Kathy Grant, apprenticed under Pilates Master Trainer Ellie Herman — completing 500hr Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training, and trained in Kinesthetic Anatomy with Irene Dowd and Lynn Martin (Anatomy, Idokinesis & Breathing Coordination), Dynamic Alignment and Imagery with Eric Franklin, and Yoga and Qigong Relaxation with Master Frankie Hart.</p><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; vertical-align: baseline; ">Rev. Pearson explores body/mind movement, multi-media, visual and performance art exploration. The Artist will be creating new musical compositions, theatre, photographs, video, jewelry, set designs and costumes to be incorporated into new dance works by myself, Freddie Pearson and dance partner Geovani Rodriguez. The Dance Theatre Concert will be presented June 2012. With your support and contributions we are able to rent space for auditions, rehearsals, performances, supplies, costumes, sets, pay artist and make this project a success. Your help can, and will, ensure the process, creation and sharing of the work.
