We are Jim and Mindy Phypers, creators of Solar Haven in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. With the help of many friends and volunteers, we built our own staw bale house there and lived off the grid. We ran many workshops, had a live-in internship program for two years, and led many tours of Solar Haven, both privately and for the "National Solar Home Tour" for four years.
