I'm a science fiction writer. I've had 14 novels published in both the USA and UK, and over 70 short stories. I teach creative writing at a local college. I've been nominated for a number of literary awards. I write for the Guardian newspaper on spirituality and I'm involved in the esoteric community in Glastonbury, UK, where Trevor and myself run shops and a gallery/workshop centre. I'm passionate about the landscape and history of this area: one of my recent Somerset short stories, The Hide, was selected for The Weird, an anthology of the most significant speculative fiction stories of the last 100 years. I'm planning to write more about the West Country and the Hundred Stories Project is part of that. <br>
