Films Don't Just Happen. I Make Them Happen.

<p>Stephanie was living in San Francisco, California prior to moving to Asia in 2007.&nbsp;While attending New York University's MFA Film Program in Singapore, she focused primarily on producing socially-relevant projects in SE Asia.</p> <p>Her first feature film, <em>Sundowning (</em>made in Singapore, dir. Frank Rinaldi) debuted at the Slamdance Film Festival this past January. In October 2011 she completed principal photography on <em>Brave Girl</em>&nbsp;(dir. Erin Galey), shot on location in Nepal and India. <em>Brave Girl </em>is a short docu-drama about the sex trafficking crisis happening across the Nepal-India border. Production included cast and crew from seven different countries, and will start festival run in the summer of 2012. Her other 2011 project,&nbsp;<em>Manila Running</em>, (dir. Anuj Gulati and shot in the Philippines), was recently blown up to 35mm print by The Alternative Network Broadcast and will screen in select French cinemas before feature film presentations from now until 2017.&nbsp;</p> <p>Stephanie's US experience includes production assistance for indie producer Ted Hope on the Todd Solondz' film&nbsp;<em>Dark Horse</em>, starring Selma Blair, Jordan Gelber, Mia Farrow, and Chrisopher Walken. She also edited the book&nbsp;<em>"Think Outside The Box Office: The Ultimate Guide to Film Distribution in the Digital Era"</em> by Jon Reiss. In addition, she has worked in development for the Los Angeles production company Radar Pictures.&nbsp;</p>
