from the ashes
I graduated from "art school" a couple times over. Sounds pretty impressive, huh? I have that pretty Bachelor of Science degree decorating my wall; the only thing is it is in Web Design and Interactive Media. My Associates is in Culinary. Basically, I am turned on with making things.

I moved to San Francisco in June 2011 to find new levels of inspiration and to meet people who have that creative spark so I can be a participant in an art project as well as a creator of my own. In 2011 I will be bringing my 2nd installation project to Burning Man.

2010:My first year making and delivering Monotropolis which was an homage to Stanley Kubrick and the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, a file from 1968 that was made with astonishing effects at the time, but had a story that was amazing.

2011:My second year with a piece called Final Passage that was "The Tree of Life Meets the River Styx". It was done in galvanized steel and I rented studio space at American Steel Studios in W.Oakland to make it. in the end, the piece failed to meet the vision for lack of funding. I raised $2100 and spent close to $3K.

2012: Will bring Issues on the Table which is a psychological look at my own psychological baggage growing up with an abusive father. This should be a low overhead kind of piece because it is relatively simple construction. There is a sketch available.

I am a middle aged fruitcake from the land of fruits, buts and flakes. I am off beat and in denial that I am not still in my twenties. I am the eternal student of life and strive to be a humble soul in my day to day living.

Your support and love given to these projects, even just reading about it, is appreciated. I want to see these take life and maybe one day be out there for all the public to see.
