Previously, she worked as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist/ Daily Living Skills Instructor for Lions Center for the Blind in Oakland, CA. Annie has been working with Spanish speaking families for the past 12 years throughout Arizona, California and Mexico. Two years ago, she began traveling to Oaxaca, Mexico where she became involved with the Jorge Luis Borges Braille Library in Oaxaca City and Piña Palmera Rehabilitation Center on the coast of Oaxaca. Through her work in Oaxaca, she has made several connections with leaders in the field of disability, rehabilitation, and education. </span><o:p></o:p></span></p> <!--EndFragment-->
