<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="'courier new'">Cristian Carretero is an independent filmmaker based in New York City, originally from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.&nbsp; While at Sarah Lawrence College he worked closely with color photographer Joel Sternfeld.&nbsp; At FAMU in the Czech Republic he was mentored by cinematographer Jaromir Sofr. Currently he is an MFA candidate at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has made several short films many of which have been awarded and shown worldwide. He is currently writing a feature length film and in pre-production for a short film to be shot this coming year.</font></span></p>
