Cherylyn Lavagnino: Artistic Director/Choreographer for CLD
Cherylyn has an MFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, as well as a BA in Philosophy from USC. The Artistic Director/Choreographer for Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance since its founding in 2000, she has created over thirty works in the past fifteen years and teaches professional ballet locally and internationally. Lavagnino is currently the Chair of the Dance Department at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and in 2003 won the prestigious David Payne Carter Award for Excellence in Teaching.
