David Leith Fraser is currently a senior film and media arts major at Temple University in Philadelphia. Born in Mexico City, to Mexican and Jamaican parents, he draws from his multicultural background, and his obsession with music, fashion, and art, to fuel his growing passion for video art, documentary, and narrative film and video work. He's worked on several projects including Boys & Girls and Rockumentary, which were both featured in the TFC Film Festival. As well as the Temple News documentary (Don't) Go To College. <br>He focuses the core of his work on the complexities of identity and representation, pulling from his own varied identity as inspiration.His current project, From the Other Side of the Door, a hyrbid documentary short about a young transgender man, was recently awarded the Freese Film Foundation's Award for Best Documentary Treatment. <br>
