He received his B.A. and Master’s from the University of California San Diego with a degree in international political science and a minor in physics. Shortly after his undergraduate studies, he interned at The Carter Center in Atlanta. As the Bolivia intern, he worked with President Carter and his staff, promoting fair electoral systems and democratic governance. <o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">He received his Master’s from the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS), where he focused on climate change and sustainability. He also had leadership roles on campus, earning him the 2010 Doming Liu Award. As the President of Net Impact (IR/PS), he furthered the organization’s commitment to advancing sustainability through private enterprise. In the Baja Project, he worked with a team of consultants to catalyze sustainable development in the community of El Barril, Mexico.<span style="mso-bidi-font-size:16.0pt;font-family:Arial;mso-bidi-font-family:Cambria"> </span>He interned with CB Richard Ellis in São Paulo, Brazil, helping the world’s largest commercial real estate management company develop a new carbon-reduction service for its clients. With foresight and leadership he launched COP Dialogue, the inaugural IR/PS student delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Mexico.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Most recently, he made it to a third-round interview for the position of Director of Business Development with WindMade, but was not selected for the position.&nbsp;<span style="mso-bidi-font-size:16.0pt;font-family: Arial;mso-bidi-font-family:Cambria"><o:p></o:p></span></p> <!--EndFragment-->
