The Medieval Center
The Medieval Center (Middelaldercentret) is an archaeological open-air museum and medieval technology center, recreating an early 15th-century Danish market town. In 1989 a replica of a medieval trebuchet was built which kickstarted the interest in medieval technology, crafts, and daily life. The trebuchet has been the trademark of the Medieval Center for more than 30 years, and we are building a new trebuchet in 2023. To do this, we are launching a crowdfunding to help finance the build.
