Born and raised in Hong Kong, Matthew trained as an actor and puppeteer at the California Institute of the Arts, obtaining a BFA in Acting. He worked in the film industry in Los Angeles as both a puppeteer and actor before moving back to HK to obtain a master's degree in multimedia technology. He then worked in the realm of video games, voice over acting and curating art exhibitions in Hong Kong. Matthew now lives in London, UK, where he works as an actor and an illustrator for films.
