Russell Cutts is a writer, educator, organic farmer and perennial student of ancient lifeways. He has an M.A. in Ecological Anthropology, has been a museum director, traditional skills consultant for First Nations of North America, taught thousands of people to make fire rubbing sticks. He is the author of Blackbird Dreams (a book of 'anthropoetry'), WildFire - Fire Making Art, and Native America Bites Back (on wild foods and creative recipes). He currently studies for his PhD in anthropology
