I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English from Wesleyan University. After graduation I moved to New York City and pursued a career as a playwright. In 1990, I re-located to Los Angeles and founded the Write Act Repertory Company in 1998, serving as Artistic Director until 2003. I also formed a theater collective in Toronto, Ontario and served on the board of Salem K Repertory Co. in Los Angeles.
