Ryan Njenga is an award-winning, independent filmmaker based in Kansas City. His work explores the many facets of growing up in the social media age, through various genres. He writes, edits and directs all of his productions and occasionally acts. Through his banner production label NJENGA FILMS, he’s released a four-part short film collection exploring death, love, social media, cultural identity and modern black life in America.
