Promoting the United Planet Faith & Science Initiative
I grew in California, and completed an M.A. and B.A. from Stanford with a focus on global environmental issues, and received rabbinical ordination in Israel. I founded and direct The Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development. I have spoken on religion and the environment in a range of locations, co-organized two interfaith environmental conferences in Jerusalem, and edited two books on Judaism and ecology. I live in Jerusalem with my wife Shana and son Shacharya.
