<p>I'm a (already not so) young director from Russia. I'm ruined my study in Saint-Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television and don't give a ZEF about it. But I have a lot of unproducted shorts, documentaries, fiction and even animation projects. Some of them partially producted, some needs to be kickstarted (by mom or even God).<br /><br />Independent movie in Russia can survive only if indie has become a major studio - it's absurd for folks abroad. But it's good for you as investors! We in Russia can shoot full-length fiction for a ten thousand dollars. Plus around five thousand for full-length sound mix (it's a 80% of post-production). And maybe two or three thousand for cell copy printing (hell no) and promotion. But it's if you're lucky.<br /><br />Russian directors have some unique: we product fast, we never spend money for mansion or delicious food on set. I'm as director losing 5 kg per day, when I produce! It's because director in Russia equals Deus. I'm not such a man who will purchase REDs for your money. I just produce so much of my project, how kind you will be to invest. All saved money from each project will be automatically transferred to next and it will be write down in every next my crowd-funded project, starts trough IndieGoGo (and other same-market-friendly-fire services).<br /><br />So, at this IndieGoGo platform I hope raise so small amount of dead presidents from you - and finish my pack of shorts. And maybe get some film industry pals, who can help me in the future, when I start production in US.
