I worked in mine reclamation for about 20 years before coming to the orchard in 2005. I did a lot of re-vegetation on the mine sites and learned how to rebuild soils using organic methods doing that. So it wasn't a to big a jump coming to the orchard and converting it to organic management. Linda and I have learned a lot in our time here as land stewards. Every day we learn a new lesson.
