I am the General Manager of Initiative for Living Community Action (ILCA), the organization which we are raising these funds for. I have been working in this position for four years now. Previously I worked for government and non profit organizations as a teacher, College Instructor, Curriculum Developer, Public Administrator, and Project Coordinator for about twenty years. I studied English Language and Literature for my bachelor's and Regional and Local Development Studies for my Master's Degree.

As has been given in the 'OUR STORY' part in this campaign document, I have thus far managed three community development projects for ILCA since its establishment in 2009. The works we are doing on Climate Change are among major focus areas of our community development endeavours. I have been participating in and contributing to several global initiatives on Climate Change. I was in the COP 15 conference in Copenhagen. We presented voices of our indigenous communities to the international community in this conference through giving photo supported explanations on local impacts of Climate Change. I and a community leader did that in collaboration with Nicolas Villaume, a CWE partner and French Photographer who is an international award winner.

I and another community leader participated in a local Climate Change Assessment workshop that was indigenous methodology oriented and conducted in Panama. I also took a training on Participatory Video in London together with one of my colleagues now, who is currently working as a local facilitator to our Participatory Video program, which is focussing on Climate Change as well.
