Rani is a filmmaker and theater artist from Dayton, Ohio area. She has a BA in theater from Antioch College and an MFA in film from Ohio University. Short films include Quiet on Set, Heather Has Four Moms, Texting: A Love Story, Welfare Check, Beautiful Eyes. Her films have won awards and screened at hundreds of festivals around the world. Rani currently teaches Screenwriting at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
