Byb Chanel Bibene

Bibene is Artistic Director of Kiandanda Dance Theater. His own technical and aesthetic sensibility is rooted in the culture and dances of his country of origin. He has toured and performed internationally with companies originating from Africa, England, France and the USA. In Kongo language, kia ndanda means someone or something that comes after me, this could be people, ideas, events...for Byb, Kiandanda is the accomplishment of his ideas and visions for his art and for this world.
