<P>Howdy! We're The Chili Chicks! We are a Country dance team based out of West Palm Beach, Florida and comprised of a range of women as young as 18 to over 45, with backgrounds that vary just as much. What makes us so unique is our absolute and total love for what we do, and appreciation for our fans and supporters. </P> <P>The Chili Chicks started as ambassadors for a Chili Cook Off April 2008 wiith the intention of performing a mere 4 times per year to promote the event. Well before we knew it, we were getting calls from all over the state of Florida to perform at different events. By the time 2008 came to a close, The Chili Chicks had performed 113 times. In 2009 that number more than doubled and to date, we have performed more than 570 times and for over 350,000 people across the Southeast.</P> <P>In 2009 we wanted to represent the USA so we entered in three National Competitions and&nbsp;came away with&nbsp;first place in each, qualifying us for the opportunity to compete for the Country Dance <SPAN class=caps>WORLD</SPAN> Championship title. Therefore, in January 2010 we hit the road for Nashville, Tennessee and on a cold snowy day we&nbsp;achieved our goal of becoming the 2010 Country Dance World Champions.</P> <P>2010 has been full of new experiences for the team—we have been featured in a number of music videos, have choreographed debut linedances for Nashville artists’ new&nbsp;songs, have performed at locations throughout Nashville, and have been invited to perform overseas.</P> <P>The Chili Chicks do everything “in-house;” we have a head choreographer who is also the team captain, and each member of the team helps by adding their own ideas to the choreography. We do not have an outside PR or Marketing company to promote the team; we just work hard and spend hours and hours rehearsing and often juggle multiple projects at the same time.</P> <P>At the end of the day, through the long hours and sometimes harsh conditions, we love what we do and that is&nbsp;thanks to our incredible fans. One of our largest fan bases is young girls, usually between the ages of 6-14 and we make sure to take the time to make sure they know to follow their dreams. We love to teach dance to anyone willing to learn, and we always show our appreciation to those who want to see us , for without them we wouldn't get to do what we love.</P>
