An enthusiastic ambassador of dance!

<div>The story and adventure of Around The World In 80 Dances is told via our host Lucinda, a dynamic&nbsp;and worldly 30-something dance-lover. From years of experience, she knows&nbsp;social dancing brings joy, connects her with people of all backgrounds and&nbsp;rejuvenates her spirit; she’s also sometimes disheartened that dances often get&nbsp;“watered down” from their pure forms when offered for public consumption in&nbsp;the media. In "Around The World In 80 Dances" she becomes the student, learning the authentic dances&nbsp;with you, asking the questions and clarifying steps, and sharing her enthusiasm&nbsp;of the experience. A skilled yet not intimidating dancer, she inspires you to get on&nbsp;your feet and try it no matter what level of experience you have.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Lucinda Chrisman has been an actor and dancer since childhood. An artist and performer herself, she&nbsp;attended Playhouse West for acting in Los Angeles, has a handful of stage and film appearances, and has&nbsp;performed in dance shows and music videos from Dwight Yoakum to JayZ. Besides salsa and tango, she has undertaken&nbsp;(or attempted) lindy-hop, west-coast swing, jive, samba, bachata, cueca, cumbia, flamenco, belly dance,&nbsp;hip hop, jazz, country two-step, disco/hustle…. and the list goes on. She’s an avid promoter of social dance,&nbsp;known among peers and colleagues for her passion for dancing and travel, and is the perfect highly-spirited&nbsp;fresh face to usher in this concept for social dance, much like Rachel Ray has done for cooking.</div><div><br></div><div>Lucinda is also a filmmaker and video producer. She recently directed the short "Two To Tango", and has appeared in numerous productions, both stage &amp; screen.</div>
