Living in Hawaii, I focused on surfing and working as a hospital administrator. Over time, surfing became displaced by a deeper interest in medicine that eventually drew me to NYC and medical school. I moved to California, started a family and worked in the Bay Area as an Emergency Physician. Here my interest in public health, and its ability to positively impact a broader group of people, led me to pursue changes and improvements in the way people approach their health.
