This combined with the different styles of Christian music ranging from The Gaither's and Jimmy Lee Swaggart to<span class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline; "> Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin gave him a love for music that continues to drive his passion to this day. <br><br>O'Dane's sound incorporates ALL genres of music. You can hear the influence of bands like U2, Nirvana, Green Day, The Dave Matthews Band, and solo artist like John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Peter Gabriel, Rob Thomas, Musiq Soulchild, and D'Angelo...just to name a few. His lyrics are described as honest, subtle but strong, and comparable to greats like Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor and other great writers. <br><br>O'Dane has not always been in the lime light as a singer-songwritter. <br>O'Dane has played/ and or written for up and coming local artists Elder Ronnell Fuller, Kelly Jones, and Melissa "Shine" McHugh. He has shared the stage with a plethora of artist spanning from Tye Tribbett and GA to RnB sensation Neo. All while earning a Bachelors degree in Music from Herbert Lehman College in the Bronx, NY. <br>O'Dane is currently working on his debut album due to drop in the summer/fall of 2012. He however plans to release a 4 song EP in February 2012.
