<p>FILMMAKER’S <span class="caps">BIOS</span>:</p> <p>Rebecca Pelletier (Director, Producer, Writer, and Lead) Rebecca has performed in dozens of plays including <span class="caps">THE</span> <span class="caps">VAGINA</span> <span class="caps">MONOLOGUES</span>, films including <span class="caps">SLEEPING</span> IN A <span class="caps">DREAM</span> and has had roles on <span class="caps">GUIDING</span> <span class="caps">LIGHT</span>, <span class="caps">ALL</span> MY <span class="caps">CHILDREN</span> and <span class="caps">THE</span> <span class="caps">VIEW</span>. Rebecca wrote, produced and starred in an original play, <span class="caps">INNER</span> <span class="caps">CHILD</span>, that premiered at The Actors Guild Theater in New York City. <br /> Earning her Anthropology degree from Purchase College led Rebecca to a stronger interest in her community and political activism. She has created several experimental films and documentaries that question our ideas of self and society. <br /> Rebecca’s projects received positive recognition and were selected to appear at screenings with Purchase College Conservatory films. Rebecca was awarded the Abbott Kaplan Award for outstanding artistic achievement in film and her thesis project Reclaiming Public Space won 2nd place Documentary at the dig.it.al(l) film and animation festival in Westchester NY. This is Rebecca’s first film project since graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2007. <span class="caps">SAG</span>/<span class="caps">AFTRA</span>.<br /> http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2900930/</p> <p>Emily Morse(Producer, Writer, and Lead) A poet, songwriter and performance artist, Emily Morse considers herself a creative explorer, attempting to marry art and social action through film, music and poetry. With an undergraduate degree in journalism and a master’s degree in International Economic Policy Analysis from Columbia University, Emily has found in creative expression a form of abstract journalism, using performance as a medium to explore her political, sensual and intellectual inquiries. Her debut full-length album was released in 2004, with her second to follow this year. She performs consistently in the New York and Connecticut areas, and her songs have been featured on radio stations and compilations, including the Hartford Songwriters Collective and the “Knowing is Positive <span class="caps">HIV</span> Awareness” CD out of Detroit. Since rekindling a passion for acting, Emily has been featured in several short films that received positive critical response. With a belief that art is an essential unifying and uplifting force, Emily makes sure that her work is life, vocalized.</p> <p>Additional support with financing, writing, producing and acting came from Pelletier’s husband, John Shortall.</p>
