Jeremy Stewart is the Artistic Director of Casse-Tete: A Festival of Experimental Music. As a writer, his third book, In Singing, He Composed a Song, was shortlisted for the 2022 ReLit Award for poetry. As a musician, he has toured Canada, performing with artists such as Lightning Bolt and Oxbow, collaborating with the likes of Stanley Zappa, and playing lead guitar, including for Juno nominee Marcel Gagnon. He holds a PhD in English Literature from Lancaster University.
