But I gave it all up and flew off to South East Asia, yet failed to find myself.</p> <p>Instead, I found werewolves in Cairo, during Ramadan. Mad monks in stupa spaceships. And forgotten Lao Generals selling durian ice cream.</p> <p>I once wrote for National Geographic. Now I&#8217;m telling my stories on film. My production company, Amoeba Films, is a collaborative collection of like-minded artists, filmmakers and productive dreamers.</p> <p>I have two daughters and thirteen independent film awards.</p>
