I am a mother and an artist of life (music & dance mostly, but I like to believe I have an eye for visual art too). I utilize those facets of my being to organize my community to be empowered to work towards self-determination. One of my tools for organizing is teaching. My mission in life is to help change the state of my people and to get us to think outside the box to do it. I am the director of Little Maroons Childcare Coop and a founder of the New York chapter of the New Afrikan Scouts.
