I was born and raised in Baltimore, a city most known for the HBO show, "The Wire". It was my desire to see the world beyond my neighborhood that kept me out of the lifestyle glorified in that show. Books and movies about foreign lands kept me satiated until I got to college and learned about studying abroad.
