My name is KhaRå Martin I'm an artist, advocate, and filmmaker. I've won the Robert Gill Award for best direction and outstanding achievement in writing. My debut short film No Justice No Peace premiered at TIFF NEXT WAVE and won Best Short Film at the Emerging Lens Film Festival and the Impact award at CineFAM Film Festival in 2021. My second film the Idea of The Black Dollar is on CBCGem. Currently I'm hosting a docu-series called Black Community Mixtapes airing on CityTV.
