On a study abroad semester in Israel, I learned about this concept for the first time. Permaculture is based on three ethics: </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-tab-count:1">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Care of the Earth</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-tab-count:1">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Care of People</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-tab-count:1">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Fair Share (of the earth, goods, and knowledge).</p> <p class="MsoNormal">After studying permaculture, I returned to school in Cambridge, MA where I worked for an organization called CitySprouts (<a href="http://www.citysprouts.org/">www.citysprouts.org</a>). It was a wonderful experience and allowed me to continue working in the dirt with passionate and earth conscious individuals while living in a large city. Now, I am graduating from school in Paris, France and am looking towards the future-a future full of permaculture and its three ethics. I have come up with a goal that will, hopefully, allow the idea of permaculture to spread to people in cities and small communities that are looking for a creative and innovative method for communal and sustainable living. And I need your help to realize this goal! </p>
