Lindsay Krumbein

Founder and Executive Artistic Director of Gritty City Rep

Lindsay Krumbein is a director, producer, and educator. After teaching at public schools in the Bay Area since 2001, she realized her greatest strength lies in establishing and working with student ensembles. In 2012, she opened GCR as an Oakland youth community theatre. Lindsay was the Education Director at SF Playhouse from 2009-2014, and currently coaches teachers in the East Bay, as well as writing curriculum and training teaching artists for New Conservatory Theatre Center.
