I was born a reader. Before I knew how to read on my own, I followed along cassette tapes. Even as a young child, I realized that the power of the word can open up the world for me. I want to give others the same opportunity. That's why I'm volunteering with Mosqoy, to give the gift of education to promising youths in the rural villages of the Peruvian Andes and connect their weavers to others who sees value and will pay a fair price for their craft.
