Teaching photography to children with limited access to resources to develop creativity & discover self-expression.
Pronounced “KEY-oh,” our name means ‘mirror’ in Swahili & was chosen to remind us about the power of reflection—literally & figuratively. We teach photography to children from communities with limited access to creative resources. With a camera in their hands, our students unleash their creativity, recognize & celebrate their individuality, and explore their lives through a different lens. Photography. It’s more than an art form. It’s a catalyst for hope, possibility & social change.
