Tainted Reality was founded in 2005 and has since organized and managed tours for Japanese bands such as Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet- and The Candy Spooky Theater. We have brought several other bands to conventions throughout the Northeast, including Rose Noire, GPKISM, The Sound Bee HD, and Suicide Ali. Tainted Reality has also conducted several interviews with prominent personalities in the Japanese music scene, including X-Japan's Yoshiki, Dir en grey's Die, Miyavi, and the band MUCC. We have also been branching out to represent the gaming community and most recently brought Screwattack.com's Iron-Man of Gaming competition to Nekocon. <br><br>This profile is also used for our web-comic series "Fixer". Fixer is the story of members of a fictitious rock band and the trials and tribulations in working in the music industry. Drawing influences from classic rock, punk, and grunge, as well as Japanese visual rock and street fasion, the band creates a unique blend of visual arts and high energy music. The story is narrated by guitarist Dakota Shaw in the present day. Caught in a depression about where his career has led him, he begins writing a journal, remembering the days with the 3 most important people of his life, Damien Miller, Naomi Halevi, Mamoru Kageyama, and their band "Fixer". The s<span class="text_exposed_show">tory starts in 1998 with Dakota and Naomi in their senior year of high school, Mamoru having recently graduated, and Damien just starting in his freshmen year. The first story arc will go on to detail how they all met, their motivations for starting and joining the band, Dakota and Naomi's graduation, and an experiment that leads the band to Mamoru's home city of Tokyo, where the band finds their artistic direction.</span>
