As a strategic advisor, I have been fired from 27 FTSE 100 (stock Market listed companies) boardrooms in most cases escorted off the premises by security, in every case for telling the truth which some board members don’t like to hear. But all said and done, I was re-hired by 22 of those same companies when reality hit home within 3 years or less with an apology and a bonus cheque only to continue where we had left off.
