I studied and performed Modern Dance in depth with Nona as a student at the State University College at Geneseo, NY. For the past 30 years I have owned and operated the Valley School of Dance in Geneseo, where today a new generation of young people is being introduced to the ideas and techniques of the Humphrey-Weidman tradition in dance. It is truly inspiring for me to realize how many people Nona has touched and influenced in her long teaching career!
