<p>A junior at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Savannah Winchester began her studies and involvement in film in high school where she was part of a competitive communications program with emphasis on film. Graduating high school she received the Burt Reynolds Film Award as well as youth awards from the Palm Beach International Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Woodstalk Film Festival, and the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival for her participation in numerous short films. Today, her emphasis on producing has yielded many student shorts including <em>Hold Your Arms Out, Apiary, Kentucky Blue, </em>and <em>Unicorn Boy </em>as well as a feature length documentary currently in post production, <em>American Bear: An Adventure in the Kindness of Strangers.</em></p>
