Washington, District of Columbia, United States

I finished my studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012 with degrees in Journalism and International Studies. I have studied and volunteered in both Kenya and Tanzania, and while abroad I saw the need for creative and critical learning opportunities for children. After discussing this with local friends, another American and I decided to start The Ota Initiative, a group dedicated to using arts and science education to help children develop creative and critical thinking skills.
