Dale Hoyt was video director of The Kitchen from 1989-1991. Having lived, breathed and created film and video since childhood, he's one of the foremost experts in avant-guard film/video and performance art. Dale's taught at the California College of the Arts, SF State, The New School in NYC and the San Francisco Art Institute. His writings have appeared in many periodicals and books including the Getty's "California.Video: Artists and History" and Berkeley Art Museum's 2011 "Radical Light".
