Jobs for women in the rural areas of Armenia using traditional skills

After three years of grass root work the Homeland Development Initiative Foundation was founded on March 25, 2013. More than 10 active projects are now running, from knitting in Goghovit in the north to crocheting in Kapan in the south. Over 140 women are gainfully employed by our projects so far. Our goal is to have 2500 employed within five years. But more than this, HDIF aims to encourage and nurture economic activities, striving to create healthy, strong communities.
