Her thesis film, <i>Limang Libo</i>, was the National Winner for the Kodak Filmschool Competition and was one of the finalist in the Young Cinema Category of the Cinemanila Film Festival, both taking place in 2009. It was also the Grand Prize Winner of the Quisumbing-Escandor Film Festival for Maternal Health 2010. Limang Libo was her first film.</font></span><span style="color: windowtext; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; "><font size="3"><br> <br> </font><span style="background:white"><font size="3">Ice is a graduate of the Asian Film Academy Programme under the 15th Pusan International Film Festival in 2010. This year, Ice will be directing her first feature film, <i>Mga Sulat Para Kay C, </i>one of the 11 films chosen for the Cinemalaya Film Festival 2012, New Breed Category. Believing in the discipline of shooting in film, she hopes to make another short shot on 16mm in the near future.</font><o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
