Jack Fisher is the former editor of the long-running print magazine, Flesh & Blood. During his tenure as editor and publisher, Flesh & Blood went on to win the Writer's Digest Best Zine award of 2002, as well as dozens of short fiction reprints in "Best Of" anthologies, and numerous award nominations, and accolades. Jack was also an assistant editor for Francis Ford Coppolla's online zine, ZOETROPE: ALL STORY. Jack has a Bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in English Literature. With his return to the publishing field and deep interest in strange, bizarre, offbeat, and fantastical fiction, and THE DARK has been his brain child for two years in the making. Having been widely published in over one hundred different professional fiction markets, Jack believes that every writer deserves the chance to be published - he refuses to close his doors to just the "big names", and wants everyone to have fair consideration. Jack lives in South New Jersey where he works in the medical field.
