Karla Adolphe is an award-winning singer/songwriter known for her honest lyrics, incredible voice and engaging performances. <div><br></div><div>Karla lives in High River, AB with her husband and son and is a full time touring musician, speaker and workshop leader. Karla specializes in teaching songwriting and vocal performance workshops, cooking amazing soups and making time to fill her home with artists and great conversation. </div><div><br></div><div>Karla is known in Canada for her work with roots duo <a href="http://www.therustycaravan.com/jacob-and-lily/" title="Jacob and Lily" target="_blank">Jacob and Lily</a>, as well as her collaborations with <a href="http://www.entertheworshipcircle.com" title="Enter the Worship Circle" target="_blank">Enter the Worship Circle</a> and americana duo <a href="http://www.theemporiumsmusic.com" title="The Emporiums" target="_blank">The Emporiums</a> featuring <a href="http://www.aaronstrumpel.com" title="Aaron Strumpel" target="_blank">Aaron Strumpel</a>. Karla has had many of her songs featured on compilation cds, the NPR radio program <i>Mountain Stage</i>, CBC's <i>Vinyl Cafe</i> and <i>Definitely Not the Opera</i> and recently had a song featured on the pilot episode of the CW's <i>Hart of Dixie</i>.</div><div><br></div><div>Karla has been honored as a co-winner of Newsong's Mountain Stage Songwriting Competition and the Canadian Folk Music Awards best new/emerging act in 2007.</div>
